Another night, another stroll through the forest. Akeelah moved silently as she walked down her usual path through the forest as the sun began to set. It might not have been the smartest thing to keep coming to the forest at night. After all the shifter had a history of running into trouble in this place. The place was always crawling with other supernatural creatures here besides herself, some of which were actually fairly dangerous. The girl had plenty of run ins with the dangerous types, sometimes she was able to give them the slip, but others gave her trouble, and she found herself just lucky enough to get away with her life. Sadly they weren't the only ones that she needed to worry about now. There was also the risk of her ex-mate showing up as well. The girl let out a sad sigh as the thought of the hellhound entered her mind. Just thinking about Guillotine made her feel depressed. She had been with him for so long now, but only recently she left him. All thanks to the bastard not being able to keep it in his pants.
The last thing that Akeelah wanted to see was him, even more so than some dangerous freak that might try to make a meal out of her here. That man broke her heart, the next time she saw him she wouldn't know how to react. Maybe she'd attack him like she had done the day she found out that he was cheating on her? Maybe she'd just break down and cry again? Who knew. Either way she didn't want to find out. But there was a chance that he would come out here too. He used to wander into her territory all the time. If he was smart enough he would not show his face out here ever again. Then again, if she was smarter she wouldn't be out in this damn forest either.
Akeelah moved deeper into the woods, trying to push away the thoughts of the man she once loved and just enjoy her time here. As bad as it was to be this place was the only place that the girl had left. It was the one place that she could find peace in and wasn't about to let that go for anyone. if someone wanted to give her shit than so be it. She'd teach the bastard that dared to try and attack her what it meant to fuck around with a angry leopard. Suddenly Akeelah heard some movement nearby. The girl stood still and glared at the direction of the sound. Speak of the devil. she thought. She was about to transform and get ready to fight when a rabbit ran out of the brush past her. The girl breathed a sigh of relief and started to return to her own business. It was just a false alarm.
